Maybe giving money just isn't your thing. But maybe you have access to products, supplies, or services that we could use in our Arizona lung health programs.
Items individuals could donate:
Asthma Walk
- Children’s bounce houses
- Entertainment (bands, dancers, etc.)
- Port-a-toilets
- Dumpster service
- Balloons
- Tent rentals
- Save the Date postcards and postage
- Plaques and awards to acknowledge walk sponsors, participants and volunteers
Audio/Visual and Other Electronics
- Digital camera
- Video Camera
- Overhead projector
- Portable sound system (something with a powerful mic and speaker)
- Desktop or laptop computers for volunteers
- Red laser pointer for presentations
- Voice dictator
Business Support
- Airline miles for staff travel to and from meetings
- Hotel room accommodations when staff travels
Camp Not-A-Wheeze
- Large mail room to use for bulk mailings
- Volunteer in-kinds to show appreciation for their time – gift certificates, gift baskets, etc.
- Medications – basic asthma medications
- Vehicles to transport guests to Camp Visitor’s Day
- Lunches for campers on first day while riding to camp – Most likely brown bag to include at least the following: sandwich, fruit, cheese, chips, cookies and bottled water
- T-shirts for volunteers and campers
- Art supplies for kid art projects
- Backpacks for volunteers to carry campers’ medications from one activity to another
- Bus transportation for campers and volunteers to and from camp
Food
