Clean Air

Indoor Air

Though indoor air quality is typically better than outdoor air quality, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ranks indoor air quality in the top five for human health risks. There are several sources of indoor air pollution including poor ventilation, combustion sources (coal, gas, oil, wood), building materials, household cleaning products, and central heating and cooling.

The EPA suggests improving poor indoor air quality through eliminating individual sources of pollution, improving ventilation, and using air cleaners.
