Asthma Camp
July 13-18, 2008
Camp Wapiti-Tooele, Utah
Asthma Camp is a great place to make new friends, spend time outdoors and learn about asthma. With nearly 30 counselors, and a medical staff with doctors, nurses and respiratory therapists, campers learn to control their asthma while doing things they love.
Camp Wyatt has a rock wall, egg drop, an evening dance, karaoke, canoeing and swimming. In addition, they learn when to take their asthma medication, how to control it, and what triggers asthma attacks.
The camp is for 8 to 12 year-olds who have moderate to severe asthma. Parents too can relax knowing their child is under the supervision of around- the-clock medical personnel.
Camp Wyatt registration forms should be mailed ASAP with payment enclosed. The camp fee is $125.00. If full payment cannot be made at one time, $35.00 will hold a reservation with the remaining $90.00 due by June 15, 2008.
If you are in need of financial assistance, please fill out the application and write a letter explaining your situation. If it is necessary to cancel registration before July 7, 2008, the $35.00 registration fee is non-refundable. Please be understanding of this, as funds are spent prior to camp based on registration.
The health form must be turned in by June 15, 2008. Please note that this years’ application is slightly different and longer than it may have been in the past. Please be sure to fill out the form in its entirety.
