Information about Vehicle Donation:

- The vehicle must be complete with all its major parts: engine, transmission, 4 inflated tires, keys and title.

- A vehicle donation application can be mailed, emailed, faxed, or downloaded from this website.

- The application form needs to be filled out, signed and mailed or dropped off along with the signed title to the ALAU office at 1930 South 1100 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84106.

- When the application arrives to the ALAU office and all is correct, it will be sent to Dean Clark's Used Cars. They will call to schedule a convenient pick-up time.

- Time frame for pick-up is weather permitting. Generally, if the vehicle is in Salt Lake County, it takes 2-5 business days after the application and title have been received. In other counties, it generally takes 5-10 business days for pick-up.

- If a vehicle needs to be picked up as soon as possible, we encourage the donor to come to the ALAU office and turn in the application and title.

- If a vehicle is driveable, you can call Steve Clark at (801) 532-2277 to make arrangements to drop off the vehicle in Salt Lake City. Bring your title and provide your own transportation back.

- When a vehicle is sold, auctioned off or sent to salvage, ALAU gets a report from Dean Clark's Used Cars at the end of every month with all vehicles that sold. A "Letter of Receipt" will be mailed to each donor within two weeks after we receive this report.

- If you have any further questions, please call The American Lung Association in Utah at (801) 484-4456.
